Kayla Wojda, PsyD, LP

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and work with teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, stress, and other life challenges. With compassion and empathy, my hope is to provide the support and information needed to bring balance to your life. I provide a warm, safe space for you to process what’s weighing on your mind. I take a person-centered approach to therapy to allow space for what is most relevant to you while also challenging patterns of avoidance to help guide change.

With a trauma-informed perspective, I utilize integrative techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness. Each individual has a unique response to these approaches so we will work collaboratively to find the tools that are best for you and your life.

Born and raised in northeast Michigan, I completed my bachelors degree at Northern Michigan University in 2014. I spent a couple of years in southern Texas before moving to Hillsboro Oregon, where I received my masters degree in 2017 and my doctorate in 2021 from Pacific University. I returned to Michigan to complete my APA accredited doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at a group private practice in Cadillac, Michigan before transitioning into an individual practice in Traverse City.
